Terms & Conditions

By booking a cleaning session with My Housekeeper, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read carefully.

1. Booking & Payment

1.1 All cleaning sessions must be paid in full upfront before the service is provided.
1.2 Payments can be made via bank transfer.
1.3 We do not offer refunds for any services paid for, whether partially or fully.

2. Cancellation & Rescheduling

2.1 Clients may cancel or reschedule a booking up to 48 hours before the scheduled service without penalty.
2.2 Cancellations or reschedules made within 48 hours of the scheduled service are non-refundable, and the full payment will be retained.
2.3 My Housekeeper reserves the right to reschedule or cancel a session due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., staff illness, weather, emergencies). In such cases, you will be offered an alternative date or a full credit toward a future session.

 

3. Access & Security

3.1 Clients must provide safe access to the property at the scheduled time (e.g., keys, alarm codes, entry instructions).
3.2 My Housekeeper is not responsible for any loss, damage, or theft caused by leaving valuables unsecured.

 

4. Liability

4.1 My Housekeeper carries public liability insurance, but we are not responsible for pre-existing damage or minor wear and tear.
4.2 We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses resulting from our cleaning services.

 

5. Health & Safety

5.1 Clients should inform My Housekeeper of any hazards in the home (e.g., pets, stairs, slippery floors).
5.2 Our staff will use reasonable care, but clients accept that minor accidents may occasionally occur.

 

6. Complaints

6.1 If you are dissatisfied with the service, please contact us within 24 hours of the session.
6.2 We will make reasonable efforts to resolve any complaints or provide a remedial visit at no additional cost.

 

7. Data Protection

7.1 Personal information collected for bookings will be used only for service delivery and communication.
7.2 We do not share your personal information with third parties except as required to provide the service (e.g., staff, payment processors).

8. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Northern Ireland. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Northern Ireland courts.
